Who This Dinner Is For
1BB Owners Club members. You do not pay for anything. We just need to know you’re coming so the chef has your name and your steak count.
The one or two founders you’d bet your reputation on. Their seat is $150, and you can cover it or they can.
Then our own short list. Any guest seats still open after members have invited go to local founders we already know and respect.
Step One
This takes about thirty seconds. The button below opens an email with everything already laid out — just fill in the blanks and send. We’ll ask you for:
- Any dietary needs, so the chef can plan around them
- Roughly what time you’ll arrive
- Whether you’re planning to nominate a guest founder

Step Two — Optional
No pressure here — we have a short list of founders we know and respect to round out the table either way. But if one owner comes to mind you’d put your name on, someone you’d actually want sitting next to you in the Club, this is the night to bring them. How it works:
- You name them in the email first — we send them a proper invitation from us, so it’s not homework for you
- We seat them near you so the conversation flows
- You can cover their seat, or send them this page and let them pay the $150 themselves
Guest seats are limited — about ten across the whole table. First come, first served.
Say yes now — the details can come later. After the twelfth we give unclaimed seats to the waiting list.
Questions
Do I really pay nothing?
Nothing. Dinner, the room, the piano, the photos — all covered for you as a 1BB member. The only thing that costs anything is a $150 seat for a guest you bring.
Can I bring two people?
Ask us. There are about ten guest seats across the whole table, so it depends what’s left when you ask. If there is room, it’s $150 per guest seat.
What if I say yes and then can’t make it?
Tell us as early as you can. We’ll give your seat to someone on the waiting list, and if you paid for a guest seat we’ll refund it in full up to Wednesday, August 12. After that, the chef’s count is locked.
Is there a pitch?
No hard pitch. We’ll take about five minutes near the end to share what we’re building, mostly for the guests who don’t know us yet. You already know the deal. Feel free to enjoy your dessert.
What do I wear?
Founder formal — smart casual. A collar is plenty. Think “closing a deal over a great dinner,” not “black tie.”
